Billing for FreeSWITCH

FreeSWITCH is a scalable open-source cross-platform telephony platform designed to route audio, video, text or any other form of media. It was created in 2006 by a team of former Asterisk developers.

FreeSWITCH runs on many operating systems including Linux, BSD, Windows, Max OS X and Solaris.

Our integration with FreeSWITCH provides call accounting and billing by automatically retrieving and parsing the native XML call records. We also support call authentication and authorization via RADIUS or standardized APIs that allow FreeSWITCH to communicate with our billing system in real-time. These functions can be used to authenticate the caller, verify balance information, calculate prepaid call duration, enforce spending limits, etc.

Once the call records have been parsed and submitted to our rating engine, the FreeSWITCH integration can take advantage of the rest of our billing system features.

Our integration is supported on both the Linux and Windows versions of FreeSWITCH.
